Tell your girlfriend to go to a gynaecologist as soon as possible(I read ur reply to some of the answers above n came to know u r not in India now). As u hav clearly mentioned abt her nature of menstrual cycle and the dates u had sex wit her. She is not pregnant by having sex with you from 29th Dec till 12th Jan. The first proof is her regular cycle on the 16th Jan. If u need to reaffirm it you can know from her next cycle which came on the 12th Feb. So she is not pregnant because of ur unprotected sex from 29th Dec to 12th Jan. But the cause of worry is the delay in her periods from the average range of 28 days to 40 days and the very bad pain she is having right now. So tell her to go to a gynaec as soon as possible coz ladies dont go to gynaecs only for pregnancy. There are also other health related issues with the female reproductive system and she might be having one right now which may be the reason for the delay as well as pain.
Another reason to go the gynaec as soon as possible may be due to your unprotected sex resulting in formation of a zygote which have not been fully removed/ excreted/ aborted by ur contraceptive pill/powder. The watery menstruation in her Feb. cycle and the delay n pain now, if it is due to the residue, then it needs immediate intervention by a gynaec.
And let me giv u another possible reason n dont mind for my frank answer. U said u r now in abroad and aftr ur unprotected sexual encounter she has had 2 regular cycles in Jan and Feb. So there is a chance of her havin sex after 17th February (betwn 22nd Feb to 2nd March) and she might be pregnant because of that. In this case too, she need to go to a gynaec ASAP!!!
