Vagina have lip like structures on its opening one is pair of larger lips known as Labia majora on its outerside and smaller lips on inner side known as Labia minora. It gives vagina flaps like appearance which can be responsible for arousal of man.
These lips are senstive and have nerve endings and get swollen when woman is excited. It protects the vagina from external touch. Means they are somewhat protective in nature. On touching them they lead to arousal of woman which lead to vaginal secretions. At that moment girl is excited and ready for sex or willing to have sex.
