Just-vibe,

You have a legitimate question. But you need to brush up on your knowledge. AIDS is transmitted when one of the persons in the relationship has HIV / AIDS. Even when an HIV infected person has sex with a non infected person, there has to be exchange of body fluids, like semen and blood. For blood to come in contact there must be a wound like on the gums (may not be visible to the human eye).

You have spoken about AIDS, which is the advanced stage of HIV. The reason you are advised to wear condoms, is because it is some barrier to the transmission of HIV. The status of the disease is not written on a person’s face, so you never know if your partner has had sex before with an infected person. HIV has no age, status, gender basis. It can infect anyone.

Your question is why does a rapist not get AIDS. As explained earlier having multiple partners is not the criteria. Even if one person in that cycle has HIV then it can be transferred. Besides, how do you know that he has not been punished and does not have AIDS. Problem is that having AIDS is not a criminal offence. It is treated in the Medical and Legal world as a disease.

Well, hoping for natural punishment, is beyond the scope of this Site. You can only pray that Divine intervention will strike the offender.
