The medical research recently carried out has found that female ejaculation, commonly known as squirting, is a combination of two fluids released during orgasm.
The Skenes glands, which are considered the female equivalent to the male Prostate, produce a small amount of filmy white fluid called Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA), which is ejected via the urethra at orgasm, in the same way that ejaculated semen (itself a mixture of PSA and sperm) is ejected from the urethra in the male penis. However, this is not the complete picture. The squirting of large amounts of fluid has been scientifically studied under proper test conditions, and the largest component making up the fluid is urine. In most of the volunteers, the ejaculated fluid contained PSA, as well as urine, but the vast bulk of the liquid was confirmed by analysis as urine.
Interestingly enough, the tests were conducted having first established that the women volunteers began masturbating having first emptied their bladders, with ultrasound scans confirming no urine present, but when the women were scanned again, at the point of orgasm, it was found that their bladders had refilled quickly, thus providing the fluid necessary to "squint" on reaching climax. Further research is planned to determine why the bladder refills so quickly during sexual stimulation in women who "squirt," as seen by the study.
So, squirting is really an intense release of urine (which may, or may not contain PSA as well), at the point of orgasm.
